It's comfy enough for a hotel, they don't have breakfast, but the wifi is fast and the hot water is even faster, it's well managed for an independently owned hotel.
Sam went above and beyond. He was exemplary in his hospitality. Thank you for your kindness in our time of grief! We and Charlie Walker appreciate your care and concern! Every time we are in Big lake we will certainly say hi!!!!
we stayed here one night and a day in half gave us a good fairly priced. Our TV only stayed in one channel but we were going to sleep anyway so it didn’t matter. I didn’t like that didn’t have coffee in the morning but there’s a gas station down the street. but the lady was very nice up in the front.
I can’t speak for the rooms, but the service was top notch! My plane broke down on the way home and big lake was my only out. I randomly stopped in to ask if there was a laundromat near by and the proprietor promptly took me to the back and told me to use his equipment. We used a payment app to exchange money for some quarters to allow me to get some clean clothes. He then allowed me to wait in his lobby in the AC while I awaited my rescue ride. Great group of people the lot of them!
